The Eh Bee Family is a family that produces videos for the general public’s entertainment. Their work is light and fun and has a “day in the life of a happy family” kind of theme. They have a nice blend of scripted comedy skits as well as spur-of-the-moment clips of whatever they are doing at that moment. They are very good at releasing content on a regular basis and interacting with their fans. In fact, they not only have a Facebook page, but also have a YouTube and Snapchat account. I currently follow them on Snapchat and they post new snaps everyday.

Whenever I am going through tough times or generally just having a bad day, the Eh Bee Family is able to cheer me up just by making me laugh or helping me to remember all the blessings that I have in my life, such as family. Although I realize they may fight and have arguments off of the camera, like every other family, I feel like their videos are an accurate representation of how their family gets along with each other. They live everyday to the fullest and are always looking for new activities to participate in, which I think is an important message to share with the public.

They started off making short, random videos for fun as a way to try out something new as well as having something to look back and laugh about. However, soon, they found that more and more people were starting to enjoy their videos and began sharing them with their friends. They received positive comments like “these videos make my day!” or “I was having a bad day, but this cheered me up”. Now that they have gained popularity over the internet, they have companies reaching out to them offering sponsors, and they have attended big-name events like Kids’ Choice Awards. Despite having gained this newfound fame, they still post the same type of videos and enjoy life with ever step that they take.

When attending post-secondary schools, students oftentimes find themselves lonely or homesick and suffer from the added stress from schoolwork and deadlines. If I were to ever run into someone who needed a little cheering up, I would definitely show them one of Eh Bee’s videos or recommend their page to them. Although they are just a regular family, the Eh Bee family brings that excitement and positivity into the lives of anyone watching them, which is why I think that they are such positive role models to not just families, but all individuals in society.
