Multi-platform Idea

For my multi-platform idea, I plan to include a picture of myself (featured below) and include a thought bubble graphic on top of my head leading to all the different things that I am interested in.
The things that I am interested in will be portrayed using a combination of words and graphics that I will design myself (ie. typography graphics, logos, etc.). Alternatively, I may end up creating image graphics for each skill, and then have the word appear when the user hovers over the graphic. When the uesr hovers over the graphic, the opacity of the image will decrease and the word will be bolded, making it the main focus. Also, the image will increase slightly in size when the user hovers over it.
The icons will be arranged like a collage with very minimal white space, portraying how my thought process works and how I always have ideas running through my head.
I also like the idea of have a quick video introduction accompanied by music which will then lead into/fade into this picture (similar to the website we viewed in class: Out My Window).
Another idea that I have is having a blank page at the beginning of visiting my site, where it asks the user a question:
"What are you looking for?"
And there will be graphics of all my my skills accompanied by the words, and the user will be able to choose one, which will take them to the corresponding page for that skill. It will then have a menu bar at the top with the title:
"Looking for more than just [insert chosen skill]? Emily is a jack of many trades. View more:"
And there will be the rest of the skills that I have.
Another idea I had is having an instagram feed, where a little video snippet plays when the user hovers over the thumbnail. When the user presses on the thumbnail, it enlarges into the full video clip that takes over the whole screen, accompanied by music.
Which idea I choose to use will depend on which one I can execute the best, and which one I end up liking the most. I will be attempting both, but will ultimately choose the one that best suits what I am looking for.
